Pokemon GO brings popular new Pokemon. Here’s how to get it

In the meantime, many of us are excitedly anticipating the upcoming Pokémon LEGO partnership news or eagerly counting down to the release of Pokémon Legends: A-Z (with hopes that we’ll see which Pokémon will receive their Mega Evolutions), while others continue to invest countless hours in Pokémon GO. Remarkably, even after 8 years, the game remains popular due to regular updates and new Pokémon to capture. Interestingly enough, this month brings us Tinkatink as part of the Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event.

Hammer time in Pokemon GO!

In the exciting news for Pokémon GO players, the adorable Hammer-wielding Fairy/Steel-type Pokémon known as Tinkatink, debuted in Generation IX, is now joining the game! Originating from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, this small creature will progressively evolve into Tinkatuff and then Tinkaton.

During the Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event, which takes place from April 16 to April 22, 2025, you’ll have a chance to capture Tinkatink. To help Tinkatink evolve into Tinkatuff, you’ll require 25 pieces of Tinkatink Candy. For the powerful Tinkaton, you’ll need to collect 100 Candy in total.

Here’s what you need to know about this event:

  1. Tinkatink will hatch from 7 km Eggs. After the event ends, it will hatch from 10 km Eggs.
  2. Elekid, Hatenna, and Charcadet will hatch from 7 km Eggs.
  3. Team GO Rocket balloons will appear more frequently.
  4. 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event.
