It’s said that the contentious online personality, Johnny Somali, might be dealing with significant new accusations related to inappropriate behavior towards a minor during one of his livestreams at Lotte World, allegedly involving child molestation.

As a gamer, I’ve been following the escalating situation with Johnny Somali. His contentious streams in South Korea have landed him in hot water, and now he’s staring down the barrel of more than a decade behind bars – all due to work-related issues.

While in South Korea, Johnny Somali (whose real name is Ramsey Khalid Ismael) stirred up trouble by performing dances at the Peace Statue, bothering residents, and creating disorder in local businesses.

Initially, Ismael admitted guilt for obstructing business due to his actions at a 7-Eleven store. However, he now faces multiple additional counts of business obstruction and deepfake allegations. This stems from his use of artificial intelligence to fabricate evidence that portrayed him kissing a Korean streamer named BongBong, which is false.

Apart from the current sexual offense, it’s important to note that Ismael is also under scrutiny for additional allegations. On April 7, a legal expert and YouTube personality named Legal Mindset disclosed that Ismael is being investigated for playing inappropriate sexual content in front of minors, which could potentially lead to further charges.

It’s making headlines that Ramsey Khalid Ismael is under close scrutiny by the South Korean authorities over allegations of inappropriate behavior towards children. Johnny Somali reportedly facing ten years imprisonment with labor

On September 30, during Johnny’s live broadcast from the Lotte World theme park in South Korea, it was reported that Somali utilized a text-to-speech feature, expressing a desire to participate in actions that were deemed inappropriate involving children.

In the end, he was removed by security, and it’s expected that he will be charged and possibly indicted in the Western District of the country.

As per Legal Mindset’s interpretation, such an action contravenes South Korea’s Child Welfare Act. This is because the act would qualify as “sexually harassing a child in a manner that could cause them to feel embarrassed or ashamed about their sexuality,” which falls under Article 17 of the Act.

If found guilty, the potential sentence could range from imprisonment for up to ten years with mandatory labor, or a financial penalty amounting to approximately 50,000 Won (equivalent to around $34,000 USD).

As a gamer, I’m not him, but from what I’ve heard, he might be facing some serious prison time due to the persistent Business Obstruction allegations against him and the ongoing issue with those Deepfake videos.

The scheduled trial date for Somali has been set for April 9th, but there’s a possibility it may get postponed until May, due to his legal representative’s efforts to postpone the proceedings in light of the Deepfake accusations.

Besides being charged with breaching anti-terrorism regulations, making threats of sexual abuse towards fellow streamers (female), using illegal substances, infringing upon the Railroad Act, and disseminating North Korean propaganda are additional allegations leveled against this individual.
