The newest content, including the recently revealed race and an update, is being added to the game Against the Storm.
The Eremite Games team continues to work on their debut game, a standout title from 2023. Last February, gamers got the 1.7 update, a smaller one yet filled with appreciated modifications, several ideas for which originated from player feedback.
In addition, it’s common knowledge within the community that another new feature is on its way to the game. This upcoming event is referred to as a “bat race” and it is expected to contribute to the developers’ plans for the playable factions in the game titled “Against the Storm“.
In simpler terms, the announcement on Steam revealed that the bats are described as a rugged and fiercely committed folk, who take great pride in enduring hardships that might break others. They seem to have an aversion to being favored or treated preferentially. Their focus will be on metallurgy, but it appears that no job will truly satisfy them.

This update will subtly shift the game’s equilibrium by allowing players to utilize service resources without the need for constructing a specific building, and it will tweak the bonus for reputation gained through determination.
