It’s not just Bloodborne anymore, but Duskbloods is also stirring up a touch of envy among FromSoftware’s PC game fans

In the latest Nintendo Direct presentation, FromSoftware Studios unveiled a new title called “The Duskbloods,” which shares striking resemblances to their previous work, Bloodborne, from Japanese creators.

As a gamer, I was caught off guard by the unveiling of the game title, not expecting it from FromSoftware, given they haven’t released Elden Ring: Nightreign yet last year. But what truly sent shockwaves through me was discovering that The Duskbloods, a game I had high anticipation for, will be an exclusive title for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console.

PC gaming enthusiasts have been longing for the port of Bloodborne for quite some time now, yet strangely, Sony has shown no intention of releasing it. With FromSoftware recently announcing a new game with a similar style, they’ve once again restricted it to one specific platform, causing frustration among the community who are eagerly waiting for more cross-platform releases.

It’s not surprising that fans have begun to humorously calculate the days until The Duskbloods breaks free from Nintendo’s control and arrives on PC. The first such post was made on a well-respected profile within the community known as Is Bloodborne on PC, but the comments are filled with sadness and resentment.

It will happen tomorrow (just kidding, this game will never hit PC, knowing Nintendo).

Another never-ending cycle has just begun…

It remains uncertain whether the exclusivity of “The Duskbloods” is only for a limited time or indefinitely. If it turns out to be permanent, enthusiasts may find themselves needing to purchase a future Nintendo Switch model, expected to release on June 5th of this year.
