April Raid Schedule
Pokemon Go is shaking up its raid rotation once again in April.
Starting from April 9, Tapu Lele, the protector of the island, will once again appear in premium raids. Following this, Ultra Beasts Blacephalon and Stakataka will take over in the Western and Eastern Hemispheres respectively, until the end of the month. To wrap up April, the legendary Pokemon Cresselia will make its return.
In the meantime, Mega Raid battles will feature Mega Blaziken, Mega Sceptile, and Mega Mawile taking turns, while Shadow Registeel will show up during Shadow Raids every weekend this month. Additionally, expect to encounter a fresh wave of Dynamax Pokemon in Max Battles over the coming weeks.

In April, there will be an increase in Spotlight Hour events hosted by Pokemon Go, offering players a fresh array of highlighted Pokemon and exciting rewards to anticipate throughout the month.
Every Tuesday evening at 6-7 PM according to local time, a specific type of Pokémon tends to show up in the wild more often than normal, giving you a great chance to expand your Pokedex and collect candy. During this hour, you’ll also receive an added bonus for catching Pokémon, such as doubled XP or Stardust.

Stunning Styles
Pokemon Go is kicking April off with a Stunning Styles event from April 3-7.
At the upcoming event, participants can look forward to continuing the Might and Mastery Special Research narrative for this season, offering prizes such as Kubfu Candies and Golden Razz Berries to those who successfully finish the various assigned missions.
During the upcoming event, an additional free Special Research tale entitled “A Bold Shadow” will also be accessible. Completing this narrative will grant players numerous prizes, among which is the opportunity to capture the legendary Pokémon Marshadow.
Additionally, the three types of Paldean Tauros – Combat Breed, Blaze Breed, and Aqua Breed – will first appear in Pokemon Go. You’ll encounter them both in the wild and during raids. Other Pokemon with multiple forms, like Castform, Burmy, and Shellos, will also be present.

Tyrogue Hatch Day
Following Mega Audino Raid Day, Pokemon Go is hosting a Tyrogue Hatch Day event on April 6.
During the upcoming event, Tyrogue Pokemon will be emerging from 2-kilometer eggs at a higher rate than normal. Additionally, your chances of hatching a shimmering Tyrogue will also be boosted.
Furthermore, you’ll find both complimentary and payable Time-bound Research missions that you can accomplish throughout the occasion. Additionally, some in-game perks will be offered, such as twice the candy for hatching Pokemon and a higher chance of obtaining 2 km eggs from PokeStops.
Spring Into Spring
Pokemon Go is celebrating the changing of seasons with a Spring into Spring event from April 9-14.
During this special occasion, you’ll get a chance to catch Gossifleur, a grass-type Pokémon, and its evolved form, Eldegoss, for the very first time in Pokémon Go! Additionally, throughout the event, you’ll find an increased number of grass, water, and fire Pokémon popping up in the wild at different times on various days.
Alongside the main Pokemon, you’ll find special Research missions and Collecting Challenges tied to events. The game additionally provides some perks such as doubled candy from hatching eggs and a higher chance of stumbling upon shimmery variations of Remoraid and Fletchling.

Dynamax Entei Max Battle Weekend
This month, Pokemon Go is organizing another Max Battle Weekend, and this time it’s all about the legendary Pokemon, Entei. The event will take place on the dates of April 26th and 27th.
April Community Day
Pokemon Go concludes April with its Community Day event happening on this coming Sunday, specifically on the 27th of April.
For this month, our spotlight character is the Ice-type Pokemon, Vanillite. Between 2 PM and 5 PM (local time), you’ll find Ice Pokemon popping up in the wild more often than normal. Plus, your chances of coming across a shimmering, rare Vanillite are higher during this period!
This occasion offers a unique learning chance for a special move. Until May 4th, any Vanillish you can evolve will automatically learn the Charged Attack “Avalanche” upon evolution. In PVP fights, Avalanche has 90 power, while in gym/raid battles it boasts 85 power.
Besides the main activities, you can expect a variety of Field and Time-based Research missions to engage in during the event. Additionally, there are some bonuses to utilize. Lure Modules and Incense that you activate will last for three hours. Furthermore, catching Pokemon will grant triple XP and double candy. Lastly, trading Pokemon will cost 50% less Stardust.
