Colin Jost and Michael Che took a humorous swipe at this week’s top news stories during the most recent episode of “Saturday Night Live.

One of the highlights of Che’s night was when he jokingly referred to wealthy rap entrepreneur Diddy and his rumored fondness for baby oil at parties, saying, “In a poll among oil industry leaders, many believe President Trump’s ‘Drill, baby, drill’ slogan is failing and tariffs are problematic. However, there is one billionaire oil magnate who continues to back Donald Trump: Diddy.

Earlier, Che introduced a popular internet sensation from the past week, stating, “Fitness influencer Ashton Hall has been making waves in the news recently — I’m guessing you’re familiar with him? He’s the guy whose morning routine videos have amassed close to 1 billion views on various platforms. And now, we’re fortunate enough to hear from our resident expert, Devon Walker.

Later on, Walker demonstrated segments of his unique “hustle and flow” ritual, mocking Hall’s video through a humorous skit where he prepared an avocado toast mask and napped in his wardrobe.

Che playfully criticized the week’s most anticipated album release by stating, “After a gap of twenty years, Will Smith has come out with a new album, but surprisingly, it doesn’t deliver the expected punch.

In other places, Jost ridiculed a contentious depiction of Trump, commenting, “Officials in Colorado took down a portrait of President Trump from the state capitol after Trump himself criticized it as unflattering, labeling it ‘deliberately distorted.’ Notably, Trump had posed for the painting with a hamburger in his mouth, according to the artist’s explanation.

The news satire segment also took aim at figures such as JD Vance, Governor Kristi Noem, and the Pete Hegseth Signal issue.
