In the late 1990s, slasher movies experienced a sort of comeback, with Wes Craven’s “Scream” leading the way in 1996 and Jim Gillespie’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer” following suit in 1997. The latter produced two sequels – one good in 1998 and a disastrous direct-to-video release in 2006. Now, a new film is set to be released under the same franchise, which is oddly titled like the first movie but serves as a direct sequel to the second. Sony Pictures Releasing has unveiled the first poster for this upcoming film.
