The popular trend of AI-generated images in the style of Studio Ghibli has swept across the internet, making it hard to avoid seeing these captivating images wherever you go online.

Due to the overwhelming success of ChatGPT 4.0, our graphics cards have been significantly strained, causing the CEO to intervene.

Sam Altman shared that it’s fantastic to observe numerous individuals utilizing OpenAI’s product, but the rapid increase in images has caused their graphic cards to “overheat” significantly. Consequently, ChatGPT has needed to temporarily reduce its activities to some extent.

As an enthusiast, I can tell you that churning out these visuals in bulk demands an enormous amount of power, a magnitude that even a colossal GPU array like the one OpenAI boasts is starting to groan under the strain of handling so many processing tasks simultaneously.

As a devoted user, I’ve found myself in a position where I must implement rate limits to streamline the process and ensure it runs smoothly for everyone, including premium users. Although these limitations are currently impacting our experience, I’m excited to announce that free users can soon expect to generate up to 3 images per day! However, at this moment, I don’t have a specific timeline to share with you.
