In August 2023, there was an announcement for a large-scale modification project on Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, known as the Community Edition, by members of the UMvC3 modding community. Now, the team responsible for the modifications has shared that the complete version of Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Community Edition is accessible for download. This update introduces approximately 70 new characters to the game.
To mark the debut of their new mod, the creators unveiled a fresh trailer, highlighting some recently introduced characters within the game. The lineup features Kyosuke Kagami from Rival Schools, Nero from Devil May Cry, and an authentic-looking German Shepherd version of Mega Man, accompanied by Bad Box Art Megaman in the video.
Since the initial announcement in 2023, Community Edition modders have gradually incorporated characters into the game. However, the pack launched today significantly boosts the playable roster with a total of 67 diverse fighters, each equipped with unique moves, animations, and other features. The mod’s listing on NexusMods even provides complete move lists for each new addition, catering to those eager to experiment with the latest characters.
