In partnership with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company unveiled more information about the upcoming game, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, during today’s Nintendo Direct event. They showcased a brand new trailer that presents the intense Z-A Royale tournament.
In Lumiose City, when night sets in, a cutting-edge holographic battlefield with red boundaries mysteriously materializes somewhere within the city. This area serves as the battleground for the Z-A Royale, an intense tournament that happens from dusk till dawn. Contestants start at Rank Z and fight their way up to Rank A, with only the most powerful reaching the pinnacle. Those who make it to Rank A might even be granted a wish in the game. Throughout the competition, players will face off against other competitors and acquaintances such as Urbain or Taunie, challenging their abilities.
During the light hours, Trainers can venture into untamed territories to capture and tutor Pokémon as they ready themselves for evening skirmishes. In these combat arenas, timing and tactical planning are crucial factors since launching unforeseen assaults might give a decisive edge, and occasionally it’s smart to evade stronger adversaries. To conquer the Z-A Royale tournament, competitors must effectively utilize both daylight and darkness, enhancing their squads to face any hurdles that could appear in Lumiose City.
