A prominent documentary titled “The Tesla Dossier,” which aims to shed light on the perceived risks of Elon Musk’s political power, is scheduled to be presented as a work-in-progress at the CPH:DOX International Documentary Festival in Copenhagen this week.
Tesla Files” is a documentary, created by the Beetz Brothers from Germany and helmed by director Andreas Pichler (of “The Milk System”), that draws its inspiration from a massive data leak of 100GB. This confidential information was leaked by an anonymous Tesla employee based in Norway, known only as Lukasz Krupski, to the German business newspaper Handelsblatt.
2022 saw the termination of Krupski’s employment at Tesla, and since then, he has asserted that the technology powering Tesla’s autonomous vehicles, which he had been involved with, was not secure enough for these vehicles to navigate public roads.
As a movie enthusiast, I’d put it like this: “I can’t wait to dive into ‘Tesla Files,’ a revealing documentary that delves into Elon Musk’s innovative approach – from unveiling groundbreaking concepts, to their implementation, and his tireless pursuit of technological advancements, sometimes at the cost of truth and with genuine human impact. Beetz Brothers, renowned for their political and investigative documentaries like ‘Mafia Hunters,’ ‘German Cocaine Cowboy,’ and ‘Juan Carlos: Downfall of the King,’ are producing this timely film, in collaboration with a yet-to-be-named German public broadcaster and a streaming platform.
Beyond just Krupski’s account, “The Tesla Files” presents firsthand insights from other ex-Tesla employees and whistleblowers. As a film enthusiast, I can’t help but feel deeply moved by the human aspect of this story – families uprooted, victims struggling, lawyers battling for justice. These tales are heartrending and far-reaching, as they echo across the globe. Christian Beetz, CEO of Beetz Brothers, shared this sentiment with EbMaster, stating, “We aimed to delve deeper than mere data and reveal the human toll – the pain, the struggle, and the resistance.
Anne Von Petersdorff, working on the documentary, pointed out that “Currently, Tesla is being investigated in Europe and by the Department of Justice in the U.S.” This leads to the question, “Could Musk’s political rise be a strategic maneuver to avoid scrutiny and accountability?” she added.
As a supporter, I’m eagerly anticipating the “Tesla Files” documentary that promises to intertwine three compelling narratives from my perspective. The initial narrative delves into my personal journey, transitioning from a tech entrepreneur to a political strategist, as portrayed in the storyline.
The second narrative focuses on the heart-wrenching accounts of individuals who have experienced personal tragedies due to Tesla’s autopilot. This narrative serves as a stark contrast between my grand technological ambitions and the very real pain and suffering that some have endured.
Lastly, the third narrative dives deep into investigations surrounding me, unveiling the inner workings of Tesla through leaked data. It is said to reveal a pattern of cover-ups, regulatory evasion, and an increasingly complex relationship between my empire and political power. This part of the documentary promises to be particularly intriguing.
The ‘Tesla Files’ is currently being offered for sale by Mediawan Rights, a sales division of the European media conglomerate Mediawan. Mediawan also owns Leonine Studios based in Germany, which in turn possesses Beetz Brothers. As of now, they are approximately halfway through the production process.
