As a devoted Pokémon TCG Pocket player since its debut, I can tell you it’s quite a challenge to stay current with each new expansion. With the previous five expansions coming out every two months, it’s been an exciting race to snag the top cards and amass Pack Points for those elusive Pokémon we might have missed!

Contrarily, the interval between releases for new expansions has significantly shortened. Instead of the anticipated launch date being April 30, it’s now set for March 27, which is approximately a month earlier following Triumphant Light.

Shining Revelry will be a disaster for free-to-play

To put it simply, those who have been playing since the beginning or are just starting now, drawn by the charming Shiny Charizard, might encounter disappointment because it’s about to get harder to catch up with the game’s progression.

As a devoted fan, I bid farewell to my stashed hourglasses and hard-earned Pack Points, because an exciting new meta is on its way in the Pokémon TCG Pocket! This fresh update essentially compels me (and every other player) to use all available resources, except for those precious Pack Points, to swiftly acquire my next powerful deck.

With another update rolling out within a month that includes 96 new cards, it’s going to be tough for free-to-play enthusiasts to catch up with the latest content releases.

Actually, numerous players are expressing their hope that this announcement is a “prank” and asserting that it’s challenging for them to take a breather and catch up on past collections when they’re still working hard to finish the current one as well.
