Palworld Transmog – How To Change Your Armor Style

In the newest Palworld update, numerous additions have been incorporated, one of which allows you to alter the visual aspect of your armor without influencing its statistical properties. This novel feature is associated with a craftable item within the game, and here are some details on how to switch up your character’s appearance:

1. Craft the special item needed for changing armor appearance.
2. Use the crafted item when interacting with your armor in the inventory or at a customization station.
3. Enjoy your new look while maintaining the original armor stats!

Palworld’s Transmog feature explained

With this fresh cosmetic update, you’ll be able to modify the look of your armor without altering any of its performance characteristics. However, please note that you can only switch between armors that are already unlocked in your inventory. This implies that you won’t be able to don a high-level outfit from an armor type you haven’t earned access to yet. Additionally, the color customization is limited to the options provided within the game itself.

Although it’s a useful addition, you’ll initially need to create an item before you can utilize it. Interaction with an Antique Dresser (a possible item in your inventory), which might or might not be available for construction at your base, is required for this purpose.

How to unlock and build the Antique Dresser

If you haven’t previously crafted and positioned the Antique Dresser within your base, it becomes accessible at level 22 for a single Ancient Technology point expense.

You can use this item just as you would with other crafting supplies. To set up the Antique Dresser at your base, first, bring up the building action menu. Next, find and select the Furniture section within this menu. This will enable you to choose the option to construct the Antique Dresser.

To build, you’ll need the following materials:

  • 100 Wood
  • 20 Fiber
  • 30 Stone
  • 5 Ancient civilization parts

How to change armor with Antique Dresser

Once you’ve constructed the vintage dresser, simply engage with it and choose the ‘Edit Character Appearance’ option. This interface allows you to modify your character’s look, including their head, body, and glider design.

To change your armor to Heat Resistance Metal Armor, make sure you have that specific armor type in your inventory before approaching the dresser. In other words, if you want to swap to Heat Resistance Metal Armor, ensure it’s already stored within your inventory prior to interacting with the dresser.

After personalizing your character’s appearance at the dressing table, their style will remain consistent regardless of whether you switch armor types in the future. You are free to change this appearance as often as desired.
