Huge Palworld Update Adds Cross-Play, Photo Mode, And New Pal Storage

In simple terms, there’s a significant upgrade for Palworld, version 0.5.0! This update introduces cross-platform playability, a photo mode feature, expanded storage options, blueprint upgrades, and more cool additions. It also takes care of smaller technical issues in the game.

In Palworld, players can cross-play with one another no matter which platform they’re using – be it Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, or Mac. Notably, this latest update introduces dedicated servers specifically designed for Mac users. However, the developer Pocketpair has mentioned that at present, dedicated servers are not accessible in the PS5 version of the game, but they’re actively working towards implementing support for them.

Now, players have the ability to move Friends (Pals) across different realms, thanks to the introduction of the Global Palbox feature. This update also provides an enhanced Pal storage system called Dimensional Pal Storage, which offers a space ten times larger than the standard Palbox for storing Pals.

In the new version 0.5.0, gamers can now express more artistic flair in their screenshots thanks to the addition of a photo mode. This feature can be activated using the Pal Command Wheel, providing players with the freedom to adjust the camera angle and eliminate on-screen UI for taking that ideal picture.

As a gamer, here’s how I would put it: “In this latest update, I get my hands on a snazzy new Drafting Table for enhancing blueprints. Plus, I now have the freedom to customize the look of my armor without altering its stats! For more specifics, check out the Palworld patch notes posted on Twitter or right here.

As Palworld expands, it’s embroiled in ongoing legal disputes due to its resemblance to the enduring Pokémon game series by Nintendo. A representative from Palworld’s development team has voiced their sentiments on the court case, labeling it a “disheartening day.
