TL;DR
So, SHIB’s former lead developer has ghosted us since March 7. But don’t worry, Shibarium’s marketing guru says he’s just busy being an ambassador. Because, you know, that’s totally a full-time job. 🙄
Meanwhile, the SHIB fan club is holding onto hope for some “life-changing” partnerships when Kusama finally decides to grace us with his presence again. Fingers crossed! 🤞
Kusama’s Vanishing Act
Once upon a time, in the land of meme coins, Shytoshi Kusama was the rock star of Shiba Inu (SHIB). He was everywhere on X, spilling the tea on project updates and partnerships like it was his job. Oh wait, it was! But now? Crickets. The last time he tweeted was on March 7, sharing a post about AI entertainment. Because who doesn’t love a good robot show? 🤖
While some SHIB enthusiasts are scratching their heads, wondering if he’s off on a secret mission, LUCIE (the marketing strategist, not the one from your high school drama) assures us there’s no need for panic. Apparently, he’s just busy being an ambassador, doing exactly what he said he would. Because that’s what ambassadors do, right? 🙃
“I’m sure he will have a lot to talk about once he returns to socials,” LUCIE reassured us, probably while rolling her eyes.
Most comments on the post were filled with optimism, with some users dreaming of “groundbreaking partnerships” for Shiba Inu when Kusama finally decides to reappear. Because who doesn’t love a good comeback story? 🎉
‘A New Role: Same Mask, Different Task’
Kusama announced his grand transformation from lead developer to ambassador at the end of January. He claimed it was because “there is no more vision needed, only execution and communications.” Sounds fancy, right?
“A new role: Same mask, different task. I will now be Shiba Inu lead ambassador (if you don’t mind). My job moving forward will be to guide projects interested in building with the 36 Chambers of Tech (now rebranded to ShibOS because, let’s be honest, there are more than 36 now) and help them implement global solutions at all levels with our technologies,” he declared, probably while wearing sunglasses indoors. 😎
Of course, this announcement was followed by a dramatic price drop for SHIB. It plummeted to around $0.000176 before doing a quick rebound, like a cat that just fell off a shelf. But alas, the excitement was short-lived, and SHIB continued its downward spiral. As of now, it’s trading at about $0.00001316, which is a 25% drop from when Kusama made his big reveal. Ouch! 📉
