Asmongold has “no idea” how much money he makes from YouTube

Asmongold shared that he’s unsure about the exact amount of earnings from videos on his YouTube channel, which often receive views ranging between six and seven million.

During a live broadcast on his Twitch channel Zackrawrr on March 14th, Asmon disclosed that his earnings from Twitch between February 12th and March 14th amounted to $40,238. This sum, he stated, seemed “low” in comparison to a viewer’s comment that called it “crazy.

He explained that because his channel is monetized and runs ads, the view count could be considered as if it has a zero at the end,” he said, mentioning that this policy applies to Zackrawrr, his primary stream since shifting from his previous main Twitch account, Asmongold.

Asmongold hasn’t checked his YouTube revenue for six months

After one viewer suggested that his YouTube content was a bigger source of income than Twitch, Asmon explained that he hadn’t kept tabs on his earnings through the platform for some time.

He replied, “Let me take a closer look, I’m not sure.” Translated further, “I need to examine it. To be honest, I last checked my YouTube earnings about half a year ago.

“All I know is that if I go to the store and buy a taco, the card’s gonna clear,” he concluded.

It’s not just Asmon who is unsure of his TV channel’s income in 2025; Social Blade, a tracking site, suggests that Asmongold’s earnings over the past two weeks could be anywhere from $18,000 to $285,000. This range is quite broad, but it’s evident that Zack isn’t in a financially tight spot.

By March 12, 2025, he has become the most-watched streamer on Twitch, significantly surpassing Caedrel in viewership. However, it’s interesting to note that his peak viewership is lower than Caedrel’s, with 86,009 viewers compared to Caedrel’s 185,209.

As a passionate fan, I expressed my thoughts on March 11th about Twitch’s policy regarding streamer bans. In my opinion, streamers should only be banned from Twitch if they violate the law.
