Contrary to speculation, Sara Carton clarified during an episode of The Viall Files on March 13 that she is not currently dating Joey Leveille. However, she hasn’t ruled out the possibility. She mentioned that there was a sort of romantic quadrangle involving herself, Monica, Ben, and Joey, and they were all communicating with each other until almost the end of their time in the pods. Unlike Ben, Joey did visit Sara in Nashville, along with five others. Sara also suggested that she and Joey had developed a strong friendship.
The rumor about Joey and Sara dating originated on the March 11 episode of the “Reality Receipts” podcast during their coverage of the “Love Is Blind” reunion. According to the host, Rikkii, they were seen together at a hair salon, and sources close to the situation have verified that they are in a relationship. Rikkii hinted that if Joey and Sara deny being in a relationship now, it might later be revealed that their friendship evolved into something more romantic over time. So far, Sara has been maintaining that they are just friends.
Sara shared on Viall Files, “My bond with Joey has been incredibly close. I value our friendship immensely and feel fortunate to be surrounded by everyone who’s involved. For the moment, I’m not in a position to consider a relationship.” She further added, “I can’t predict what the future may bring, but as of now, I don’t have room in my life for anything romantic.
