Nikki Glaser to Return as Host for 83rd Golden Globes

Stand-up comedian Nikki Glaser is coming back to emcee the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, happening in January 2026 on CBS and streaming on Paramount+. This will be her second time hosting the event following her stint at the 2025 ceremony.

This year’s Golden Globes hosting gig was hands down the most enjoyable experience of my career,” Glaser stated. “I’m eagerly looking forward to doing it again, and next time I hope to perform in front of ‘The White Lotus’ crew who will hopefully appreciate my skills enough to cast me for Season 4 as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor with a mysterious past.

At this year’s Golden Globes, Nikki Glaser brought a lively, courageous sense of humor that left an indelible mark. Her quick wit and bold stage presence established a unique atmosphere, turning the event into an exciting and ultimately enjoyable experience, as noted by Helen Hoehne, president of the Golden Globes.

2025 marked a groundbreaking moment at the Globes, as Glaser became the first woman to host solo. Aramide Tinubu of EbMaster TV criticism noted that the comedian’s debut was lively and witty from the get-go. Discussing a variety of subjects such as the 2024 Presidential election results, the #MeToo movement, Timothée Chalamet’s thin mustache, and the viral holding space interview between Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo from ‘Wicked’, Glaser managed to breathe new life into the Globes. Her engaging topics and numerous humorous moments restored the Globes to its once-enjoyable essence.

Dick Clark Productions will plan, host and produce the 83rd annual Golden Globes.
