According to WBD, the latest trailer surpasses all previous previews by an astounding 160%. Kaitlyn Dever is set to be part of the cast for Season 2, taking on the role of Abby. Young Mazino will play Jesse, Isabela Merced will portray Dina, and Catherine O’Hara will step into the part of Joel’s therapist. Furthermore, Jeffrey Wright reprises his character, Isaac, from The Last of Us: Part II in Season 2.

The second season of The Last of Us debuts this coming Sunday, April 13th, exclusively on HBO/Max. This season consists of only seven episodes compared to the nine that were in the first season. However, there’s anticipation for at least two more seasons in the future.

In Season 2, some viewers might express strong criticism or disapproval about certain decisions and modifications made by the creative team. However, showrunner Craig Mazin remains unfazed. “We don’t aim to please everyone on social media or avoid causing frustration. We simply do what we believe is correct, and we hope that people join us on this journey and appreciate it,” he stated.

Although it’s uncertain if there will be a third game in the “The Last of Us” series, fans can look forward to the PC debut of the remastered version of “The Last of Us 2,” scheduled for release in April.
