Can you get Glacier from R6 Siege celebration packs

Rainbow Six Siege is celebrating its decade-long existence this year, and in honor of this milestone, Ubisoft has launched Celebration Packs. These packs contain skins that have been unavailable for quite some time, such as the elusive Aki no Tsuru. However, not all artwork from past events is making a return.

Can you get Glacier from R6 Siege Celebration Packs?

As a die-hard fan of R6 Siege, I can tell you that the Glacier skin is one of the oldest and most elusive in the game. It was initially released during Operation Black Ice (Year 1 Season 1), a time when Buck and Frost were still fresh faces on the roster. This was also around the same period when Ubisoft introduced the Yacht map.

The story behind this skin is fascinating. Rumor has it, it was available for sale for just one day! Can you imagine how rare this skin must be now? It’s no wonder that Glacier isn’t included in the Celebration Packs. This could very well be the reason why.

The Glacier skin was inaccessible until 2024. However, since the Marketplace debuted, players have been able to trade this skin among themselves. This means that those who got it earlier can now sell it to others. That said, there are certain restrictions. Firstly, the Glacier skin can only be applied to weapons that were part of the game when the design was initially released. Moreover, you need to purchase it individually for each weapon, and its price varies depending on the weapon you choose, ranging from 3,000 R6 Credits for SASG-12 to more than 80,000 R6 Credits for R4-C.

Hey there fellow R6 Siege enthusiast! If you’re open to exploring alternatives, I’d like to share some love for an iconic skin – Black Ice. It’s been around since day one and, unlike Glacier, sports a distinct color scheme. The best part? You can still unlock it in the game today! Here’s wishing you all the luck on your quest for this classic skin!
