Bill Burr recently guested on the radio show “Fresh Air” by NPR, where he discussed his new Hulu comedy special, “Drop Dead Years.” During the interview, he criticized Elon Musk for appearing to be a Nazi sympathizer and also chastised liberals for their fearful response to Musk’s increasing political power. Burr explained that his current stand-up act is focused on enlightening his audience about these issues.
Burr expressed his frustration by saying he wants ordinary people to stop arguing and understand that a small group of fitness enthusiasts, who happen to be into eating raw almonds and showing off their workout routines, are causing tension. These individuals are focusing on having the largest infinity pools and it seems like everyone else is being overshadowed. He believes they’ve turned this issue into a political matter, and we’re all getting caught up in it.
When asked who he was talking about, Burr bluntly said: “That idiot Elon Musk!”
Later on, Burr implied that Musk’s actions were reminiscent of Nazi salutes, as he referred to the disputed hand movements made by the CEO of X at Donald Trump’s inauguration event. ” frankly, I can’t accept it was a coincidental double Nazi salute twice. And he did this at a presidential inauguration!
Burr went on to say, “Here’s why I dislike liberals. Liberals lack any real power; they simply react with shock and decide to flee the country. It’s as if they’re planning to depart because of one individual with dyed hair, fake hair extensions, and a plastic-looking face. This person manufactures poor quality cars and operates an outdated social media platform. Why doesn’t he leave? Instead, why do we continue to fear this man who can’t even defend himself in a physical altercation?
Criticism towards Elon Musk’s influence on Donald Trump is growing among Hollywood celebrities. During SXSW, Chelsea Handler posed a question that made headlines: “Did anyone vote for Elon Musk to be the president? I mean, can’t we unite – Republicans and Democrats – and decide we don’t want this? Can’t we agree on that at least?
Not long after his victory in the previous presidential election, Trump delegated a mission to Musk, which involved offering external guidance to the government through the recently established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), with the aim of streamlining or restructuring U.S. bureaucracy.
