Actress Cristin Milioti, best known for her role in “The Penguin,” has been added to the cast of Netflix’s upcoming animated production titled “In Your Dreams.
Milioti is set to join the cast that includes Simu Liu, Craig Robinson, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport, Elias Janssen, Gia Carides, Omid Djalili, SungWon Cho, and Zachary Noah Piser.

Coming out later in the year is the movie titled “In Your Dreams”. This film focuses on Stevie and her brother Elliot as they venture into the bizarre world of their dreams. Should they successfully navigate a sassy plush giraffe, zombified breakfast foods, and the ruler of nightmares, the Sandman will fulfill their deepest desire…a flawless family.
Alexander Woo, along with Erik Benson and Stanley Moore, collaborated on writing the story, marking his first time directing an animated feature. He shared that Cristin is a multi-talented star on par with EGOT winners, demonstrating exceptional singing and acting abilities. Although he hasn’t seen her dance, Woo believes she could easily compete with Ginger Rogers. Every performance by Cristin is believable, which is every director’s dream come true. He also praised Jolie and Elias, stating they are the essence of the movie, effortlessly carrying the film. This is rare for any actor, but even more so for young performers their age. Each recording session felt like playtime, and Woo hopes audiences enjoy watching the film as much as the team enjoyed making it.
Milioti, the actress known for her role in “Mom,” expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Being deeply shaped by the animated shows I watched growing up, I’m thrilled to contribute to Alex Woo’s heartfelt and sensitive movie.
