At SXSW (as reported by Daily Beast), Chelsea Handler questioned Elon Musk’s impact on Donald Trump during a conversation with Kara Swisher, stating: “Did the public elect Elon Musk as president? I’m curious if there’s a possibility for both Republicans and Democrats to unite and express that we don’t want this. Can’t we find common ground on this issue at least?
It’s puzzling to me how we haven’t found a method yet to unite on a single purpose, other than avoiding the label of being someone else’s tool, let’s say, not serving a particular Russian interest.

When Swisher playfully suggested that Handler might consider dating Musk to keep his influence on Trump in check, Handler replied humorously: “I’d do a great deal for the nation, but sleeping with Elon Musk isn’t among those things. I simply won’t.
Regarding vice president JD Vance, Handler expressed that she’d likely be his nightmare as a romantic partner since “men who prefer women to stay at home, focusing on motherhood while not pursuing careers, seem outdated, slow, and dull to me.
She stated that our current political climate seems to be a result of men’s fear towards women. She questioned, ‘Why are you behaving in such a manner if it’s not out of fear?’… Women have never been stronger or more self-reliant than they are now, and this trend is not about to reverse.
