As a film enthusiast, I’ve got to share some exciting news! Just five days after its launch on March 4th, Marvel’s series on Disney+ has been making waves. According to Disney, a ‘view’ is calculated as the total time spent streaming divided by the runtime of each episode. With this definition, the series managed to garner an impressive 7.5 million views in just five days, making it the biggest streaming debut on Disney+ this year! It’s clear that Marvel fans can’t get enough of their favorite characters on this platform.
Disney doesn’t often share the viewership numbers for their streaming series, making it tough to make precise comparisons. However, to provide a bit of context, the drama starring Sterling K. Brown, titled “Paradise,” was previously estimated to have garnered approximately 7 million views within its initial nine days on Hulu and Disney+ this year. On the other hand, the Marvel show “Agatha All Along” is said to have accumulated between 3 and 5 million views at various stages of its broadcast in late 2024.
In “Daredevil: Born Again,” Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, and Jon Bernthal reprised their roles from the Marvel-Netflix series “Daredevil.” New cast members include Margarita Levieva, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, and Ayelet Zurer.
