However, it seems that the time spent memorizing lines for the skits didn’t impact her rehearsal hours for the two energetic musical performances, which left “hyperkinetic” appearing almost tame in comparison.

After an energetic performance in a vibrant purple outfit, it seemed like the end of my singing spectacle for the evening. But, to my surprise, just a few moments later, she returned, this time dressed casually, for a hilarious finale where she sang humorous tunes.

Not only was that not her initial performance during the skits of the evening, but earlier on, she had also sung a humorous rendition of “Wonderful Tonight” alongside Bowen Yang, as a duet.

Gaga’s additional standout moments on “SNL” for the evening included poking fun at herself through an opening monologue that graciously let the writers make jokes about her “Joker” movie and about having R. Kelly as a musical guest the last time she hosted the program.
