It’s a false claim.
Kimmel clarified that the government has allocated funds for genetically engineered mice, specifically designed for laboratory research on diseases. He emphasized that this is not related to transgenderism; the term ‘trans’ in ‘transgenic’ simply refers to the genetic manipulation, not gender identity. Jimmy Kimmel playfully remarked that they’re changing Mickeys into Minnies and vice versa. However, he added a joke saying it’s actually an attempt to cure conditions like dementia and heart disease, which one would assume Trump would support since those are issues he might face in the near future.
