Sure, why not: here’s a Monster Hunter Wilds mod to make your Palico very large

In the journey of every cat-loving soul, there comes a moment of contemplation: at what size would this feline friend dare to pounce on me like a playful toy mouse? I ponder if the answer could simply be “as big as it needs to be”, which makes it fortunate that Palicoes from Monster Hunter Wilds seem to be selectively bred for assistance instead. Installing a mod in this action game that makes them as tall as humans might be likened to genetic modification, but remember, hunter, genetic modification is just nature’s way of healing itself.

Title of the mod: ‘Kitty Big’

In essence, there isn’t too much to elaborate on this title as such. However, let me share a short tale for those who are still with us.

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there was a cat named Big Kitty. She wasn’t your average feline; she was larger than life and full of charm. Her size, combined with her playful nature, made her the talk of the town. In this mod, you might just encounter a character as extraordinary as Big Kitty!

At one time, a tranquil and thriving village was plagued by a monstrous creature that required periodic offerings. If these were not given, this grotesque being would emerge from its lair in the mountains and drain the very life out of the villagers.

It wasn’t satisfied by any ordinary sacrifice, though. Sometimes, it craved the flesh of legendary warriors, at other times, simple farm laborers. On rare occasions, it desired those tiny skewers with pineapple and cheese, which was nonsense because where could one find pineapples in such a climate?

One day, the villagers grew tired of accommodating the creature’s demands, as it provided only two useful services: offering cryptic advice and occasionally helping with reverse image searches for hard-to-find items, like that perfect shirt you couldn’t find anywhere. However, these functions had ceased to work due to a colony of parasites infesting its brain. So, they decided they wouldn’t offer any more sacrifices anymore. Unfortunately, this decision led to their demise, as the creature consumed them all.

In my gaming world, I’ve learned that sometimes we gotta cater to Google’s whims – today, it’s ‘Monster Hunter Wilds’. Between my first and second morning brew, I’ll gather a tidbit or two for good measure. That mod looks cool, but I won’t be using it until they optimize the game performance – that’s a priority for me!
