Capcom revealed that “Monster Hunter Wilds” surpassed eight million units sold within only three days, establishing a new sales record for the company. Now, “Monster Hunter Wilds” holds the title of being the fastest-selling game in Capcom’s history to reach such a significant sales milestone.
Evidence of Monster Hunter World’s extraordinary success can be found from its debut, as over 1.3 million Steam users played the game on PC by themselves. This figure not only marked the highest number of players in a day but also the all-time high for the game, which was attained on February 28.
Following its release, players can anticipate temporary special event missions in Monster Hunter Wilds, offering unique armor as rewards. Additionally, post-release updates for the game are scheduled, with the initial free update arriving in April. This first update will reintroduce the monster Mizutsune and present additional event quests. A second update, slated for summer 2025, will introduce a new monster and more event quests.
The action RPG “Monster Hunter World” has been released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
