The upcoming season for Pokemon Go, titled Might and Mastery, is set to commence with the Powerful Potential event. This event promises to introduce the Legendary creature Kubfu into the game, as well as mark the first appearance of Shiny Charcadet, along with additional surprises.

The current season for Pokemon Go, titled “Might and Mastery,” is centered around the Fighting-type Pokemons, with numerous events showcasing these Pokemons throughout its duration of three months.

It has been verified that Machamp will gain its Gigantamax form soon. Until then, players can engage in capturing Legendary Kubfu and its two forms, Urshifu, during the Powerful Potential event. This event also introduces Shiny Charcadet and reintroduces the Gigantamax Kanto starters to Niantic’s game.

In the meantime, they can participate in catching Legendary Kubfu and its two forms, Urshifu, during the Powerful Potential event. Powerful Potential event: Date & time

Starting this coming Wednesday, March 5th, 2025, at 10 in the morning, I’ll be diving back into Pokemon Go for the Powerful Potential event. This exciting adventure will last until Monday, March 10th, 2025, wrapping up at 8 PM local time. Can’t wait to catch some rare Pokemons!

Kubfu & Shiny Charcadet debut

As an enthusiastic fan, I’m thrilled to share that the highlight of Powerful Potential’s main event is my personal anticipation for the grand entrance of the Wushu Pokémon, the Legendary Kubfu! This extraordinary creature can be mine by embarking on a captivating Special Research story.

Players who wish to enroll Kubfu and transform it into either the Single Strike Urshifu or Rapid Strike Urshifu have ample opportunity, along with the extra perk of receiving special event rewards and additional unique content during this period.

In the exciting world of Pokemon Go, Shiny Charcadet will make its first appearance! This adorable character can be obtained from various types of Eggs. Moreover, if you accumulate enough Candy, you’ll have a chance to evolve your Charcadet into either Shiny Armarouge or Shiny Ceruledge!

Might and Mastery Special Research

During the Pokemon Go Powerful Potention event, a fresh, complimentary Special Research story is set to debut, allowing players to meet and learn about the new Pokemon character, Kubfu.

Starting from March 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM and continuing until Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 9:59 AM (local time), the research will provide trainers an opportunity to soar to greater heights with their miniature legendary companion. This period coincides with the end of the current season.

Eggs

At the Powerful Potential event, you’ll find Charcadet in races spanning 2 kilometers, 5 kilometers, 7 kilometers, and 10 kilometers. This setup will boost players’ likelihood of encountering a Shiny Charcadet and provides ample Candy for evolving it.

Apart from Charcadet, the typical Pokémon found in this season’s Egg groups will emerge once hatched from their corresponding Eggs.

From March 8, 2025 (Saturday) at 6:00 AM local time, until March 9, 2025 (Sunday) at 9:00 PM local time, the Power Spots will showcase these creatures for Max Raids.

Timed Research

During the entire event, you’ll find a themed Timed Research up for grabs. Finishing these research tasks not only rewards you with items but also provides an additional encounter with Charcadet.

Moreover, the following bonus can be unlocked with this Timed Research:

  • 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period.

Paid Special Research – Fuzzy Fighter

As a gamer, if I’ve got around $8 (or the equivalent in my local currency), I can embark on a unique Special Research mission for the chance to encounter Dynamax Kubfu once more! This research venture comes with its own set of rewards.

Remember that if you complete the Timed Research, the hatch distances will drop to 1/4.
