Great news for Edgewater enthusiasts! Fire Country has been confirmed to return for its fourth season. Yet, Bode faces some substantial challenges in Season 3, indicating that more complex problems lie ahead.
On February 20th, CBS shared on Instagram that they will be continuing the show for its fourth season, saying “The news is confirmed: We’re ready to play again for another round! And there’s so much more to come.
Indubitably, the popular TV series seems destined for a prolonged run. However, how might this impact the content we’ve been watching so far?
Although we’re eagerly anticipating a significant future event, Fire Country Season 3 is currently exploring its most stunning demise, which promises to leave a substantial mark on Bode in the following season.
Bode has a lot to fix before Fire Country Season 4
In the upcoming seasons, it seems that our character Bode may face significant personal hardships. These include coming to terms with the loss of Riley alongside his family members, and there’s a possibility he might experience a setback or recurrence in some aspect of his life.
Following the finale of Fire Country Season 3, Episode 12, Walter’s medical condition caused him to overlook or disregard Riley’s demise. In fact, he momentarily mistook Audrey for Riley at the Leone residence, leading to an increase in the underlying tension that has persisted since the very beginning.
Now, it’s time for the Leone family to face their lingering emotional wounds together, which will likely be a lengthy process. Given his current doubts about his abilities as a firefighter, experiencing Riley’s death in full detail could push Bode towards his darkest moment.
The continuous family turmoil, coupled with his efforts to rescue Rafael along with Jake, isn’t making things easier for him. Facing something he’s kept hidden for such a prolonged period might just be the final straw that pushes him beyond his limits.

Personally speaking, it appears that he might be slipping back into old habits. In the 13th episode of Season 3, Bode proved to be an extraordinary hero, but Coach Drew handed him painkillers after a baseball injury, which unfortunately led him straight back to his addiction. Essentially, the potential for a relapse has been subtly introduced, and it seems to be lurking right in front of him.
In his struggle, Bode has worked tirelessly to maintain his sobriety and strengthen his family ties. Yet, there’s a looming challenge if addiction re-enters the picture. The consequences of this battle may bring pain, and with pain often comes a multitude of complexities that will be explored further in Fire Country Season 4.
During the current week, Fire Country’s third season can be watched every seven days on CBS.
