Prosenjit Chatterjee, Dev Headline SVF and Hoichoi’s Content Slate for 2025-26

In simple terms, the leading entertainment group from Eastern India, SVF, along with its streaming platform Hoichoi, has revealed an extensive collection of about 25 fresh content pieces, including series, movies, and unique formats. This announcement was made at “Golper Parbon 1432,” a special event marking the 30-year milestone of SVF in Bengali entertainment production.

Taking center stage on our cinematic lineup are two high-profile movies featuring prominent actors: “Vijaynagar’er Hirey” starring Prosenjit Chatterjee and “Raghu Dakat,” headlined by Dev. In “Vijaynagar’er Hirey,” under the guidance of director Chandrasish Ray, Chatterjee returns to his famous character, the brave adventurer Kakababu, who sets off on a dangerous mission in search of a legendary treasure. Concurrently, “Raghu Dakat,” helmed by Dhrubo Banerjee, boasts Dev along with Anirban Bhattacharya, Sohini Sarkar, Idhika Paul, and Roopa Ganguly, presenting a fantasy story deeply rooted in Bengal’s history, portraying the emergence of an outlaw.

The streaming service is about to hit its 200th original program, and some of the most eagerly awaited shows include “Anushandhan,” where Subhashree Ganguly plays a journalist delving into strange pregnancies in an all-female prison; “Naagmonir Rawhoshyo,” starring Sohini Sarkar as she searches for a legendary gem in Thailand; and “Tomakei Chayi,” a psychological thriller centered around stalking, with Suhotra Mukhopadhyay and Srijla Guha in leading roles.

The lineup additionally offers fresh seasons of popular shows such as “Advocate Achinta Aich 2”, “Nikosh Chhaya 2”, “Kaalratri 2”, and the final chapter of the acclaimed series “Indu 3”. To complete the streaming selection, we have the horror-comedy “Bhootteriki” and the newest addition to the cherished detective series “Feludar Goyendagiri: Royal Bengal Rawhoshyo”.

In the world of theater, Hoichoi Studios is expanding its horizons with franchise productions such as “The Eken: Benaras e Bibhishika,” which stars the beloved detective character embarking on a fresh journey, and “Gora-e Gondogol,” where detective Gora makes his grand screen debut for the first time. Among other upcoming releases are “Kader Kuler Bou” and “Kumir Danga.

SVF’s 30th anniversary lineup additionally offers the treasure hunt adventure “The Hidden Seven Keys” starring Abir Chatterjee, the crime-comedy “Thief, Police, and the Bandit Babu” featuring Abir Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, and Subhashree Ganguly, the spiritual biopic “Life of Saint Bamakhyapa”, and “Killbill Society” directed by Srijit Mukherji.

The announcement unveiled Hoichoi TV+ – an innovative approach merging classic TV and on-demand content streaming. Coming soon to this section are shows such as “Shakha Proshakha,” “Atonko,” and “Shri Ramkrishna.
