At this year’s Oscars, Adam Sandler might not have been nominated, but that didn’t prevent him from gatecrashing Conan O’Brien’s opening speech during the event. The host teased Sandler for turning up in casual attire at Hollywood’s grandest night.

Hey Adam, I noticed your outfit up here on stage, it seems like you’re channeling the casual vibe of someone deep into a late-night gaming session at a video poker machine!

I didn’t realize anyone was paying attention to my outfit until you mentioned it,” I said, “but I feel great about how I present myself. I value who I am as a person more than what I wear. Leaving the gathering, Sandler extended an invitation to everyone present for a “five-on-five basketball match at Veteran Park tonight.” The game starts at midnight, and he jokingly referred to someone as being from ‘Nosterafu,’ inadvertently mixing up the title of a horror movie.
