Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – Frogs Quest Walkthrough

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, there are numerous engaging conversations to be had. Sticking solely to the main storyline in a role-playing game might become monotonous, so it’s more enjoyable to delve into the game’s expansive world and uncover captivating side missions. One of the standout side quests you can embark on early is called “Frogs,” which you can initiate by chatting with Old Olbram in Zhelejov.

As a gamer, embarking on this exciting quest, I’ve got to warn you – it’s chock-full of playful challenges that are far from a walk in the park. This time around, I’ll be your guide as you navigate the tasks Olbram assigns you within the quaint village nearby. Let’s see if we can turn these tricky tricks into triumphs!

Once you begin the Frogs mission, avoid starting the Mice quest located in Tachov village, as it could lead to failing the Frogs mission. Additionally, be careful not to get caught while creating trouble in either village, because doing so might prevent you from completing other nearby quests.

How To Start The Frogs Quest

Initially, it would be best to have a conversation with Olbram, who resides in Zhelejov, a village positioned west of Troskowitz. If you happen to miss him at the entrance of the village, he is likely inside. Given the small size of the village, finding Olbram shouldn’t present any challenges.

Engaging in conversation with Olbram, he confides in me his deep dislike for the quaint village of Tachov. He then proposes some less-than-honorable activities involving that very place. Intrigued and willing to assist him, I find myself entrusted with a peculiar task: the covert retrieval of their beloved maypole from the heart of the village.

How To Steal The Maypole

Getting away with stealing the maypole from Tachov won’t be straightforward; merely being stealthy isn’t going to cut it. To make off with it, use the coordinates on your map as guidance. When you arrive in the village, seek out a girl named Manka, who is likely to be found lounging outside the inn.

Speak with Manka, and she’ll share stories of her love, Henrik, who safeguards the maypole. It would be beneficial if you could separate Henrik from his post. Inform Manka that you will assist her in encountering Henrik tonight.

Following that, proceed to the locations indicated on your map. Once you’ve reached Henik’s home, enter, ascend the stairs, and engage in conversation with him. Inform Henik that you’ll be assuming his duties tonight, allowing him to go out on a date with Manka. Afterward, make sure to relay this information to Manka, and she will undoubtedly be delighted.

After that, you can first approach Henik by the maypole at a later time, say around 10 PM. Have a conversation with him which will prompt him to depart from the location to meet Manka. Later on, sneak back and make off with the maypole.

To avoid getting caught, ensure you perform the Maypole theft when there are no onlookers, as the animation takes a considerable amount of time.

After achieving my objective, I’ll head back to Old Olbram and return what I found for him. He’ll reward me with 45 Groschen. But let’s not get too comfortable, he’s got more tasks for me in the village. If I decline his request, that’s it for this quest. But if I’m up for a bit more mischief, the adventure continues!

Second Round Of Mischief

Following your agreement, Olbram will propose additional amusing tasks for you: concoct a digestive brew in Alshik’s meal that he hands over to you, scare off the sheep, and dirty the clothing.

To prepare the potion in Alshik’s meal, enter the village via its main entrance. You’ll find what you need on your left side. Ensure it’s between 8 AM and 10 AM when you do this.. Interact with the food item, exit the village, and then fast-forward time to 2 PM.

There’s no need for you to dirty your clothes by washing them or blend any concoction in Alshik’s meal. These tasks are entirely optional and won’t significantly impact the quest. If you simply guide the sheep into the forest and speak with Olbram, he will appreciate your efforts.

To clean your clothes, first lead one of the sheep towards the designated laundry area (it’s marked on your map). After that, you need to make the sheep leave. This is the frustrating part of the mission because having to chase six sheep simultaneously can be quite a hassle.

You can track them down individually, heading southwest into the woods. Once you’ve completed this task, inform Olbram that the job is done. With him pleased, he will then reward you with 45 Groschen.

After finishing Frogs, you can immediately embark on another mission, Battle of the Frogs and Mice, if you wish. Yet, I recommend waiting a bit before you start it because there’s another optional quest, Mice, available for those who haven’t been caught causing mischief in Tachov. Completing this side quest first will ensure that you don’t miss the opportunity to do it, should you choose to jump into the Battle without completing it first.
