Tate Brothers Told They’re Not Welcome

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has made it clear that Andrew and Tristan Tate, two influencers, are not permitted in the state, following their flight from Romania.

On December 29, 2022, Andrew and Tristan Tate found themselves in custody following a search of their residence. They remained in Romanian police custody for several subsequent months.

After being released under house arrest by the court, neither Andrew nor Tristian were able to leave Romania starting from the day of their initial detention. This order was lifted in July 2024, but they continued to stay within the country.

On February 27, 2025, Andrew and Tristian embarked on a private flight heading to Florida. Upon their arrival, the state’s governor voiced his opinions about their visit.

Florida Governor responds to Andrew Tates arrival

During a press conference, a reporter asked Governor Desantis about Andrew Tate’s arrival.

“Is he welcome here?” they asked. “What will the state do to send him back to Romania?”

Desantis stated: “I’m not part of that situation, I learned about it from news reports. It appears the U.S. federal government has authority to decide if they wish to prevent his entry into the country, and I trust that they are examining this matter closely.

Our Attorney General is examining potential state laws and jurisdictions regarding this matter, but it’s important to note that such behavior is not tolerated in Florida’s skies.

Following the spread of word about Tate’s arrival in Florida on social platforms, there was much speculation as to whether the highly anticipated live stream with Adin Ross would now take place.

In March 2024, Adin declared his intention to visit Romania in June for a live streaming event with Tate. However, that joint venture failed to materialize, leaving viewers anticipating the stream.
