Forza Horizon 5 On PS5 Releases In April

Microsoft has announced that Forza Horizon 5 will be making its way to PlayStation 5 on April 29th, marking another Xbox game joining consoles beyond Xbox. This news was first shared in January, and now Xbox Game Studios is opening up the Horizon Realms once more for players on PS5. The new trailer showcases returning locations that were previously time-limited, along with a fresh addition, the Horizon Stadium Circuit.

Due to Forza Horizon 5 being transferred to Sony’s leading console, it will now offer PlayStation Trophies, in-game badges, and recognitions that enable players to acquire additional vehicles. At the game’s debut, all benefits from previous versions will be available, featuring approximately 900 cars and 40 themed updates. Nevertheless, the add-ons Rally Adventure and Hot Wheels will remain as separate DLC purchases.

In Forza Horizon 5, cross-platform play will be enabled, allowing players on PlayStation 5 to compete with their counterparts on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Any new content exclusive to the PS5 version, such as Horizon Worlds, will also be accessible across all platforms.

Panic Button is working on the PlayStation 5 version of Forza Horizon 5, which was commissioned by Playground Games and Xbox Game Studios. The game will be offered in three versions: a standard edition at $60, a deluxe edition at $80, and a premium edition at $100. Those who choose the premium edition will get early access to Forza Horizon 5 starting on April 25th.
