As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Razer has just revealed the Blade 18 (2025), their most potent gaming laptop yet! Similar to the recently disclosed Blade 16, this new 18-inch Razer laptop is equipped with the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 50-Series GPUs. Preorders for these high-end gaming machines from Razer are now live, and they’re expected to hit the shelves on April 30. The Blade 18 comes with a starting price of $3,200, while the Blade 16 can be yours for $2,800 and above.
When you preorder the Blade 18, it includes a Laptop Stand Chroma worth $130 and an X-Ray Chroma Skin valued at $65. For those who opt for the Blade 16 preorder, they will receive Razer’s USB-C Dock with a value of $120 and an X-Ray Chroma Skin worth $60 as bonus items.
The Blade 18 comes equipped with an exceptional dual-function display, capable of Ultra High Definition Plus (UHD+) resolution at 3840 x 2400 pixels and an astounding 240 Hz refresh rate. Interestingly, the screen can also display Full High Definition Plus (FHD+) images at a rapid 1920 x 1200 pixels with an incredible 480 Hz refresh rate.

Starting at $3,200
The Razer Blade 18 can be tailored to include a top-tier RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, making it capable of handling even the most demanding tasks you present it with. By default, it comes equipped with an RTX 5070 Ti, but upgrading to an RTX 5080 will set you back an additional $500, and the RTX 5090 costs $1,300. Each GPU is matched with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX (5.4GHz), while maintaining a sleek profile at only 21.99mm thick. You’ll also have the freedom to select your preferred SSD size, ranging from 1TB to 4TB, and memory options include both 32GB and 64GB models.
Among its many impressive aspects, the standout feature of the Razer Blade 18 lies in its innovative new display. This cutting-edge screen, according to Razer, is the world’s first dual-mode display, offering two distinct modes: one with an ultra high definition (UHD+) resolution of 3840×2400 at a lightning-fast 240Hz refresh rate or a full high definition (FHD+) resolution of 1920×1200 at a swift 440Hz refresh rate. This flexibility empowers users to select the optimal combination for their specific requirements, whether it’s prioritizing resolution or speed, making the Razer Blade adaptable to a wide range of tasks.
The cooling system in this unit is a three-fan setup that rapidly releases built-up heat. Additionally, the keyboard has been revamped with upgraded scissor switches, boasting a 35% larger travel distance compared to its predecessor. It also includes a numpad with 10 keys and dual LED lighting for each key.
Equipped with a top-tier 6-speaker THX audio setup and a powerful 5MP webcam, it’s evident that the Razer Blade 18 is designed to compete head-to-head against some of the best high-end gaming laptops currently available.
