“Doc” has been prescribed another season.
The medical drama that features foxes (symbolically) has been granted another season with 22 episodes, about three weeks prior to its first season’s conclusion on March 18th.
In the series “Doc”, Molly Parker portrays Dr. Amy Larsen, a tenacious and intelligent former head of internal and family medicine who resumes her profession following a brain injury that wipes away the last eight years of her memory. The ensemble cast includes Omar Metwally, Amirah Vann, Jon Ecker, and Anya Banerjee, with Scott Wolf and Patrick Walker appearing frequently as guest stars.
Barbie Kligman serves as the chief producer for “Doc,” collaborating with Hank Steinberg and Erwin Stoff in this role. The show is jointly produced by Sony Pictures Television and FOX Entertainment Studios. It’s inspired by real events, modeled after the Italian series “Doc — Nelle tue mani,” originally created and produced by Lux Vide, a subsidiary of Fremantle Company.
“Doc” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET and streams on Hulu the next day.
