Jack Doherty Slams Kick & CEO Over Ban Appeal Denial

As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but voice my frustration when my favorite streamer, Jack Doherty, was met with a rejection from Kick when he appealed to have his channel restored. He passionately expressed his displeasure towards the platform and its CEO, making it clear that this decision has left a sour taste in our streaming community.

In just three months following a permanent ban on Kick due to an accident where he crashed his McLaren during a live stream, Jack Doherty’s channel was once again active.

Nine days after being banned, Doherty found himself embroiled in another altercation with a stream sniper, leading to yet another ban. However, he’s still active on platforms like Parti and Twitch.

In a broadcast last February, I shared the news that my ban appeal had been turned down by the platform. I felt compelled to express some thoughts towards Kick and its esteemed CEO, Eddie Craven.

While I was livestreaming, I spilled the beans about my attempt to reinstate myself on Kick after a ban. You see, I penned down an email to the team, laying out the details of what transpired during the stream and proposing steps to ensure a repeat wouldn’t happen.

Nevertheless, the appeal was turned down, which led Jack to express some strong opinions towards Kick’s CEO, Eddie Craven, and the company itself.

He angrily responded, ‘I’ll be damned if I respect them for denying it! To Kick [and Eddie], and all their followers, I say this: Shame on you! The 200,000 supporters I nurtured on your platform? Disappointing. I’m disappointed in you, Eddie, and your Australian companions. You’re becoming just like Twitch, which is unfortunate. In fact, Twitch is superior to what you’ve become.’

Later, Doherty proposed a boxing match with Eddie, suggesting that the Chief Executive Officer of Kick should spar with the inventor of Parti instead.

Creator friend, if you fight Eddie, I’ll fight Neon. Let’s get this on! The losing side must shut down their platform,” he concluded.

Or, in a more conversational tone:

“Alright buddy, if you take on Eddie, I’m up against Neon. Game’s on! Whoever loses has to pack it in and close their platform.

For several months, Doherty and N3on have found themselves embroiled in a dispute. On a July episode of George Janko’s podcast, N3on publicly challenged Doherty to an official confrontation.
