‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ Scores Most-Watched Week Ever (EXCLUSIVE)

The television show “The Drew Barrymore Show” recently reached a new peak in audience numbers, averaging approximately 1.52 million viewers during the week commencing February 10. As per CBS Media Ventures, this is the highest viewership ever recorded for the daytime talk program, which is now in its fifth season.

For the very first time, the show took the lead in viewership among adults aged 18 to 34 during its run this week. This week’s episode saw a record-breaking viewership with notable guests such as the cast of “Yellowjackets,” Selma Blair, Mikey Madison, Key Huy Quan, Theresa Caputo, Anya Taylor-Joy and Joanna Garcia Swisher. Additionally, a special Valentine’s Day episode was aired, featuring Oliver Hudson, Taye Diggs, and Valerie Bertinelli.

According to CBS Media Ventures, “The Drew Barrymore Show” experienced an increase in overall viewers by 17%, a 29% rise among women aged 18-49, a 17% boost among women aged 25-54, and a 10% growth in adults aged 25-54 during the week of Feb. 10.

So far this season, “The Drew Barrymore Show” ranks as the second most watched daytime talk show among total viewers (1.36 million), trailing only “Live With Kelly and Mark” (2.22 million). Notably, “The Drew Barrymore Show” is the sole daytime talk show experiencing an increase in viewership year over year, with a 17% rise. Additionally, it ranks as the second most popular choice among women aged 25-54 and adults within the same demographic, again falling slightly behind “Live.”

The popularity of ‘Drew Barrymore Show’ has increased due to improved time slots it received this season in seven major markets across the U.S. This includes new time slots on CBS stations in six different markets, as well as a change to a better time slot and a move to a new station in Houston. Notably, ‘Drew Barrymore Show’ is now back to an hour-long format, airing at 9 a.m., following ‘CBS Mornings’, on WCBS New York, KTVT Dallas, and WBZ Boston. In Philadelphia, the show was moved to a full hour at 3 p.m. on KYW, while in San Francisco and Miami, it was shifted to 3 p.m. on KPIX and WFOR respectively. In Houston, the show now airs on NBC affiliate KPRC at 10 a.m.

Last autumn, it was confirmed that “The Drew Barrymore Show” would continue for another season, up to and including the 2025-2026 television season, by CBS’s locally owned and managed stations.

Recently, ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ surprised its viewers with a special 50th birthday episode. Celebrity guests like Gayle King, Jane Pauley, Molly Shannon, Rachel Dratch, Adam Sandler, Cameron Diaz, and Steven Spielberg were part of the festivities.
