Isabella Rossellini Joins Mike Newell’s Wallis Simpson Biopic ‘The Bitter End’

As a passionate cinephile, I’m thrilled to share that the talented Isabella Rossellini, fresh from her recent Oscar nod for her exceptional supporting role in Edward Berger’s gripping Vatican thriller “Conclave,” is already gearing up for her next silver screen adventure.

The renowned Italian actor, a member of the SAG Award-winning ensemble for “Conclave”, will collaborate with Joan Collins on the upcoming film “The Bitter End” by John Gore Studios.

Under the guidance of acclaimed director Mike Newell (“Four Weddings and a Funeral”) and written by screenwriter and author Louise Fennell, this film delves into an untold narrative – the last years of Wallis Simpson’s life. Known as the American divorcee who became the Duchess of Windsor after marrying King Edward VIII, her actions led to his abdication from power.
