Ecommerce Startup Diddo Receives Boost From Comcast NBCUniversal Sports Tech Program

DooDoo, an online retail business situated in Santa Monica, was chosen for the Comcast NBCUniversal Sports Technology Program. This opportunity grants them the chance to test their ideas on significant sports entities owned by NBCUniversal, Comcast, and important collaborators.

The aim is to enhance the prosperity of budding tech ventures with great potential, while also aiding NBCU and Comcast properties in creating innovative ways to showcase live sports and associated sports content.

Doodle excels at integrating AI technology to simplify the purchasing process for viewers, offering them the items they see on-screen or similar recommendations. The company focuses on streamlining last-mile payment processes and merchandise delivery in collaboration with retail and shipping partners. Notable digital media clients include DailyMotion and Mux.

The Comcast NBCU Sports Tech Initiative invites ten selected companies to participate in a six-month collaborative project involving groundbreaking applications alongside professionals from NBC Sports, NBC Sports Next, Sky Sports, Comcast Spectacor, the GOLF Channel, NASCAR, Premier League, PGA TOUR, University of Notre Dame, U.S. Ski & Snowboard, USA Swimming, and USA Cycling. Over 1,600 applicants were assessed, with Doiddy and others earning a spot in the 2025 class. The program commences this week in Atlanta.
