February’s Xbox Update Adds More Titles To Cloud Gaming

This past fall, Microsoft introduced a fascinating plan for Xbox users: the ability to stream any game from their collection, regardless of whether it’s part of the Game Pass. The latest Xbox Update in February has propelled this vision further, granting Game Pass Ultimate subscribers access to over 50 playable games on various compatible devices, as long as they own these titles personally.

According to Xbox’s official website, these are some of the newly available games that players can stream directly from their own library.

  • Blasphemous 2
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
  • Slime Rancher 2
  • Subnautica
  • Subnautica: Below Zero
  • The Talos Principle 2
  • Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered

Additionally, streaming support for the titles below will be added soon.

  • Atomic Heart
  • Cult of the Lamb
  • Hotline Miami
  • Killer Frequency
  • Neva
  • Overcooked! All You Can Eat
  • Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate
  • Serious Sam Collection
  • Trepang2
  • Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition

The most recent upgrade simplifies the process for Game Pass Ultimate members to extend invitations to their friends, enabling them to participate in Xbox Cloud Gaming beta trials together. For multiplayer games, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can easily share an invite link through direct messages, group chats, or even on social media platforms. Notably, this feature is compatible not only with consoles but also with web browsers and supported TVs, provided that all players have Xbox accounts and own the game in question. Some games may necessitate Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions as well. The number of players who can join via the invite link depends on the specific limitations set by each game.

Now, anyone involved in the Xbox Cloud Gaming beta can access Microsoft’s network quality monitor. This handy tool assists gamers in identifying possible network issues and continuously monitors the quality of their connection while playing Cloud Gaming on compatible devices.

Last year’s reports suggest that Microsoft is developing control systems that stream directly and potentially enhancing the quality of their cloud gaming service further. These advancements have not been rolled out or publicly unveiled as of now.
