Starter Secrets Revealed?

Before the official release or unveiling of Pokémon Legends Z-A, the starting Pokémon have been subtly placed in view for fans to discover.

Currently, it’s an exciting period for Pokemon enthusiasts. With the launch of the trendy mobile game, Pokemon TCG Pocket, and regular updates for Niantic’s Pokemon Go, we also have the new Prismatic Evolutions TCG set to look forward to, among other developments.

Beyond this, there’s a lot of excitement and speculation surrounding the launch of Pokemon Legends Z-A, the upcoming game in the iconic video game series. Since the last release, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which was more than two years ago, fans have been sharing numerous theories about when Z-A will drop and what it might include online.

There’s been much talk about the possibility that we might get a detailed look at the upcoming Pokémon game on the occasion of Pokémon Day in 2025, as both The Pokémon Company and Nintendo have kept their cards close to their chest regarding details so far.

Given our understanding of past games and observed patterns, it seems quite likely that the starters for Pokemon Legends: Z-A have been subtly concealed among us.

Did the Pokemon World Championships reveal Legends Z-A starters?

The latest evidence for this is derived from newly unveiled artwork publicized for the Pokemon World Championship 2025 event. Scheduled to occur between August 15 and August 17, the official artwork for the tournament’s page features Toedscool, Vanillite, and Meowth as its main characters.

Among Pikachu and other Pokémon present, these three in particular catch the eye, especially as they grace the poster for the annual franchise’s most significant competitive tournament.

In most Pokemon games, a new generation is introduced along with fresh starter Pokemons and Legendaries. However, instead of following this pattern, the game Legends Arceus featured starters from three previous generations. Since Z-A is a sequel to Legends Arceus, it’s likely that it will continue in a similar vein.
