Notable Twitch broadcaster Asmongold shared insights on his experience with the OTK organization following his departure, stating that being part of it had negatively impacted his psychological well-being.
Back in October 2020, Asmongold played a crucial role in establishing the streaming collective known as OTK. He was one of its founding members, and he even co-hosted a podcast called ‘Steak and Eggs’ along with fellow streamers Tectone and Emiru for the group.
In early 2025, after spending four years with them, he decided to leave OTK, mainly due to the frequent political disputes surrounding his posts.
On February 21, during a live stream on Twitch, he affirmed this progression by stating that he had been disengaged from OTK for quite a while.
Asmongold admits he “regrets” joining OTK
In the very same program, Asmon shared insights about his time with the organization, describing it as one of the most regrettable decisions in his professional journey and confessing that it took a toll on his psychological well-being.
He acknowledged that getting involved with all those things was one of the biggest mistakes he’s ever made in his life. He regrets it, but at the same time, he doesn’t, because he believes that going through it helped him realize it was a mistake.
The heavy burden of social expectations and duties had a tremendously erosive effect on my emotions and significantly worsened my mental wellbeing. In essence, it deeply impacted me in a very detrimental manner.
Asmongold admits that his involvement in the situation was a huge mistake he regrets, but at the same time, he doesn’t entirely regret it because… he still values his friends from OTK. Despite being hospitalized, he holds on to the friendships he forged within the group.

In August 2024, Asmongold reminisced about a time when he ended up in the hospital due to dangerously high blood pressure, attributing a significant portion of his health issues to the stress that came with being part of OTK (Office of Talent and Knighthood).
He stated that the high levels of strain, anxiety, and burden imposed upon him from outside sources are essentially draining his life away.

From hereon, Asmongold intends to channel more energy towards personal projects and content creation. However, rest assured, his political streams will not be coming to an end.
Recently, Asmongold has chosen to separate himself from OTK, following in the footsteps of Emiru who recently eliminated all OTK branding from her social media accounts on the very same day when Asmon disclosed his decision to part ways with the company.
