Katamari Damacy Creator’s New Game To A T Launches In May

Keita Takahashi, the mastermind behind Katamari Damacy, has revealed that his upcoming game, titled To a T, will be available starting May 28th. This game can be played on PC, Xbox One, and the latest Xbox Series X|S consoles. Furthermore, it’s worth noting that To a T will be accessible through Xbox Game Pass on its release day.

The trailer showcases a rendition of the tune “Giraffe Song,” sung by Rebecca Sugar, famed for her role as creator of Steven Universe. In this story, a teenager named Teen finds themselves in a unique predicament – they’re frozen in a T-Pose, and their loyal canine companion helps them navigate daily tasks like getting dressed and cleaning up, among others.

They’re joining forces with Takahashi and his team at uvula, working on the game “To a T,” which carries a powerful message about disability. Titled “To a T,” this game is classified as a narrative-driven adventure. The protagonist, a teenager, finds themselves endowed with a peculiar ability stemming from their T-pose stance. As they unfold the secrets behind this power, they traverse through their town and attend school. Engaging mini-games are incorporated into the storyline, such as simulating Teen eating food or drinking water. Additionally, players have the freedom to personalize the teenager with various outfits.

The game “To a T” is being released by Annapurna Interactive, who also published one of Takahashi’s earlier works, titled “Wattam.
