Open-world multiplayer survival game Dune: Awakening launches on May 20 for PC; Character Creator & Benchmark now available

Funcom has officially revealed that their open-world, multiplayer survival game titled “Dune: Awakening” is set to debut in May, exclusively on Steam for personal computers. The starting edition of this game will retail at $49.99 or €49.99.

You can now download a tool called “Character Creator & Benchmarker” directly from the game’s Steam page. This tool lets gamers create their characters in advance and evaluate the game’s performance at the same time, giving them an early advantage when they start playing.

Players who adopt the tool at launch will be rewarded with a free “Frameblade” knife skin. Additionally, those who pre-order the game will get an extra reward called the ‘Terrarium of Muad’Dib’.
