Where to find Sanza in Avowed

Initially, character Sanza is easily identifiable in Dawnshore due to a blue exclamation mark signaling a side quest. However, after finishing the ‘Mapping the Lands’ mission, this marker vanishes when interacting with other cartographers whose maps you must return to Sanza. Hence, this guide aims to help you locate Sanza in Avowed. Here’s how to find him:

1. Begin by exploring Dawnshore and keep an eye out for Sanza, as he should still be present in the town.
2. If you can’t spot him, try visiting other locations like camps or nearby villages, as Sanza may have traveled there.
3. Since Sanza plays a crucial role in certain quests, it’s likely that he will return to Dawnshore at some point during your adventures. Keep an eye on the town and be prepared for his eventual return.
4. If you still can’t find him after trying these methods, consult your map or journal for any clues regarding Sanza’s whereabouts. They may provide additional guidance to help you locate him more easily.

Sanza’s location for returning cartographer maps in Avowed

In the southern corner of Northern Paradis lies Sanza’s Emporium, a shop where Sanza is always present. Despite not being marked on any map obtained from other cartographers, his location remains constant. For your convenience, I have highlighted the emporium’s position in red on the enclosed map. Additionally, the emporium is naturally labeled on the map for easy identification during your exploration.

To reach your destination, make your way to the High Market Beacon located to its west. I’ve marked it with a blue circle in the screenshot above for your convenience. Upon arrival, gaze towards the east. On the right-hand side of the street, you will spot a building with a distinctive deep red roof – that’s Sanza’s Emporium.

Step inside, and you’ll locate Sanza stationed behind a counter on your left side. Engage him in conversation, and one of the dialogue options will mention the cartographer. He will express gratitude for your return, share some remarks about the cartographer whose work you’ve returned, and encourage you to carry on with your exploration in the Living Lands.
