Elden Ring player becomes the first to beat every New Game+ difficulty back to back without getting hit, in an 8-playthrough run that somehow took under 12 hours

After three years since the release of Elden Ring, you might assume that players have conquered all the challenges available to them. However, it appears this isn’t true, as one dedicated player has recently accomplished an incredibly impressive feat – completing a consecutive hitless gauntlet world first.

Streamer itzCBD, who excels at Dark Souls games on Twitch, has tackled a challenge so tough that nobody else has managed it yet. Not only did he complete Elden Ring without taking any damage, but he did it eight consecutive times! He started with the regular New Game and kept going all the way to NG+7, where the game’s difficulty reaches its maximum level without using mods.

A single mistake wouldn’t merely reset his progress within this specific gameplay session, but would instead send him back to the beginning of the entire game challenge, regardless of how far he had advanced (like moving from NG+5 to a fresh New Game). However, just recently, after embarking on this quest earlier in the month, itzCBD managed to complete it successfully, and surprisingly, his final winning attempt took less than 12 hours. That’s remarkable considering that typically, each playthrough took about an hour and a half to finish.

itzCBD proudly announces on Twitter that they’ve achieved an impressive feat: completing Elden Ring from start to finish in NG+7 without receiving a single hit, showcasing a clip of the flawless final battle against Elden Beast. This represents eight consecutive playthroughs of the game, each one devoid of any hits, accomplished in under 12 hours. The run was thrilling, and they’re delighted to have completed it so swiftly.

It’s possible that itzCBD completed the challenge quickly because he had previous experience with similar tasks. Last year, he managed to complete Elden Ring from a brand-new game to NG+7 without meeting his demise. While not dying is undoubtedly more lenient than never getting hit at all, attempting it at level 1 is incredibly challenging – especially since the New Game+ levels progressively become tougher, and you’d probably perish in one hit from most large bosses at that level.

Clearly, there’s a vast realm to navigate, brimming with minor adversaries ready to attack, which could spell trouble in a hitless run if fortune isn’t on your side. Incidentally, this predicament foiled another streamer’s attempt at level 1 FromSoftware “God Run 3” last year. However, fortunately, he managed to conquer that feat a few days back.
