Destiny Hit with $1M Lawsuit Over Shocking Cyber Harassment Claims

Streamer ‘Destiny‘ faces a lawsuit seeking $1 million in a federal court, alleging the distribution of private, non-consensual videos featuring a woman.

Steven ‘Destiny’ Bonnell, widely recognized as a political influencer online, predominantly shares his content through Twitch and YouTube, amassing an almost million-strong fanbase.

Back in January 2025, a police complaint was lodged against Bonnell following allegations made by two individuals who claimed he had unauthorizedly posted their private videos on streaming platforms.

Among these ladies, a content producer known as ‘Pxie’ on various platforms, announced on X that she intends to file a lawsuit against Destiny, alleging violations of the U.S. Federal Code under 15 U.S.C. § 6851. The lawsuit aims to address two issues: the disclosure of intimate images and the publication of private facts, as stipulated in Florida law.

By February 18th, true to her word, Pxie had initiated a legal action, formally submitting a lawsuit in the Southern District of Florida with the aim of recovering a million dollars in compensation.

In the grievance, Pxie alleges that Bonnell disseminated a personal video recording of hers to one of his followers, who subsequently spread the material to other individuals. Eventually, this video was discovered on numerous online platforms.

As stated by Pxie’s legal representative, the video spread rapidly across various social platforms, leading to an influx of offensive and bothersome communications directed towards Pxie.

According to Pxie’s lawsuit, around fifteen women were allegedly sent explicit images of individuals, without their knowledge or permission, by Bonnell.

According to the lawsuit, the Defendant’s actions led to the Plaintiff experiencing intense emotional turmoil, embarrassment, and damage to their reputation. As a result, their career as a political streamer has suffered significantly, and their dreams of holding public office have taken a substantial blow.

According to Pxie’s legal team, it is claimed that Bonnell breached Florida’s anti-cyber sexual harassment statute, along with a federal “revenge porn” ordinance. They are advocating for a court trial to resolve this issue.

Destiny responds to $1M lawsuit

I, as a devoted admirer, tuned into Destiny’s live stream on February 20th, where he passionately spoke out about the recent leaks. He described them as “deeply disturbing” and “intrusive,” expressing that he was the main focus of the exposed content.

Additionally, he leveled charges against Pxie, saying they were “attempting to squeeze the highest possible amount of money out of me.” He deemed assertions that he distributed the videos for leaking purposes as “unfounded, cruel, and deceitful.

Additionally, he disclosed an initial legal request from Pxie’s attorneys, allegedly asking for $15 million initially, along with numerous conversations in the form of screenshots between Pxie and relevant parties that were also shared.

As a gamer, I gotta tread lightly when it comes to discussing that sweet gaming suit of mine. But don’t worry, I’ll still be sharing my gaming adventures with you all in the coming days after this broadcast. Stay tuned!
