Why Invincible Fans Are Surprised by Machine Head’s Voice Actor!

In Episode 5 of Invincible’s third season, they reintroduced Machine Head, the series’ robotic crime lord. If you find his voice to be reminiscent of someone you know, there’s a strong likelihood that you recognize him from somewhere else.

In Invincible Season 1, Machine Head was among the initial adversaries Mark faced. Unfortunately for Mark, his encounter with this foe didn’t turn out favorably. Equipped with a microchip granting him the ability to foresee events, Machine Head strategically sought aid from Battle Beast beforehand, preparing himself against Mark’s attack – almost resulting in Mark’s demise.

Unfortunately, despite enlisting a diverse group of evil-doers, he was still captured by the GDA. In the third season, episode 5, we find him in prison where Titan seeks his assistance regarding Mr. Liu and the Order.

He boasts a remarkably unique voice, reminiscent of a blend between GLaDOS from Portal and Rex Splode. Upon learning his identity within the Invincible series, it becomes apparent that you’ve likely encountered him in other roles previously.

This is Machine Head’s voice actor in Invincible Season 3

In the third season of Invincible, Jeffrey Donovan lends his voice once again to the character of Machine Head, a role he originally played in the show’s first season.

Donovan boasts an extensive acting career, particularly recognized for his role as Michael Westen in the successful NBC spy series, Burn Notice, which aired from 2007 to 2013.

Apart from his lead roles in “Shut Eye” and the second season of “Fargo” in 2015 (where he played Dodd Gerhardt), he’s also made appearances on various TV shows such as “Law & Order,” portraying Detective Frank Cosgrove, and guest-starring on “CSI: Miami,” “Crossing Jordan,” and “The Beat.
